Everyone knows that we are a duty free island. What that means is that you only pay personal taxes on your income to the United States. Other items are not taxed (including cars, food, etc.).
Hard to Find: If you have lots of favorite products, you should consider buying a large quantity prior to moving here. With the cost of import, many items are not available unless ordered or if available, they are more expensive.
